About Wayne Moore
I'm currently completing my MAT in Art Education at Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY. I'm finished my coursework, and I am currently student teaching at Alexander Hamilton Jr/Sr High School
I have been creating art seriously since high school. But art has always been my primary source of self-expression growing up. As a potential art educator, I aim to create a space for my students to do the same.
My artwork began as a depiction of my thoughts, feelings, and emotions. But I recently began focusing my artwork on my political views as a way to begin a dialogue with my audience. My artist's philosophy is both empathetic and curious. I believe the communication between artists and their audience is rich with learning opportunities.
